Ms. Selina Benday Visiting Faculty in a Foreign Language Course in German Area of Specialisation: Poetry, Culture Studies, Postcolonial Studies, Folk Studies and Indian Writing in English About: Selina Benday is a highly experienced language professional, currently serving as the Head Coach (German) at GermanConnect, Surat. Her current teaching roles include instructing German as an elective to 3rd year students at SVNIT (Surat) since 2023, and teaching Communicative English to bank staff. Her strong educational background features a Cambridge CELTA certificate (2005) and advanced German language qualifications, specifically the B1 and B2 levels from the Goethe Institute. Benday has extensive teaching experience, including teaching German at SCET and Kendriya Vidyalaya-3, as well as preparing students for the A1 German elementary exams at SVNIT (2006). She also taught Communicative Skills for six years at Sheth P. T. Mahila College (2006-2012). She also served as the Ex. President of the Surat Chapter of the English Language Teachers' Association of India (ELT@I) from 2009-2015 and worked as a freelance examiner for the British Council. |

Dr. Ms. Smruti Kalpesh Chaudhari Visiting Faculty in a Foreign Language Course in French Area of Specialisation:English Language Teaching, Indian Literature, Material Production About:Dr. Ms. Smruti Kalpesh Chaudhari works as an Assistant Professor at the University of the People. She is a paper-setter and evaluator for French at Amity University online. Moreover, she teaches French to aspirants who would like to pursue further studies in France. She has completed her PhD in Comparative Literature from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. Having received a Commonwealth Scholarship, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Online Teaching from The Open University, UK. She has a Master's degree in English Literature from the Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda and a Master's degree in French from University of Mumbai. |
