Located on the right side of the straight lane, a few metres from the Main gate, Canteen is the heart of SVNIT throbbing with student footfall throughout the day . With sitting arrangement both inside and outside the Canteen room, It is students' go to destination for academic discussions, event plannings or spending some quality time with friends.

Catering to the needs of 5500+ inmates of SVNIT with South Indian food, Chinese food and other common snacks, Canteen also has a wide variety of Ice-creams and cold drinks to choose from, all at affordable rates.

Working round the clock from 7:00 AM in the morning to 10:30 PM in the night (can also extend beyond 10:30 PM if required), it ensures the supply of nutritious food for students all day.
