  • Anshuman Singh Jhala received “Shri Rajani Kumar Majumdar Memorial Gold Medal”, “Shri Sohrab R. Sopariwala Memorial Gold Medal”, “Smt. Lakshmi Bala Majumdar Memorial Gold Medal”, and “Siddhartha Gupta Gold Medal” for being the topper of B. Tech in Electrical Engineering and overall topper of the institute for the academic year 2020-2021.
  • Panchal Nandini Vasantkumar received “Shri Rajani Kumar Majumdar Memorial Gold Medal”, and “Shri Sohrab R. Sopariwala Memorial Gold Medal”, for being the topper of B. Tech in Electrical Engineering for the academic year 2021-2022.
  • Deep Rodge (U19EE109) secured 3rd place in pytorch annual hackathon 2021 (worldwide) amongst 1900 participants along with a cash prize of $2000.
  • Lucky Deshmukh (U18EE032) scored 98.31 percentile in cat examination and secured admission from IIM-KOLKATA.
  • Anshuman Zhala (U17EE100) received the Gold Medal for becoming the Institute Topper.
  • Arihant Jain (U17EE089) scored AIR Rank 53 in the GATE – 2021.
  • VanrajSarvaiya (U17EE023) achieved AIR Rank175 in the GATE – 2021.
  • Anshuman Zhala (U17EE100) won the gold medal for becoming institute topper.
  • Anushree Kanodia (U17EE059) scored 98.7 in CAT-2020, and secured admission in IIM Indore.
  • Vinay Senwar (U18EE038) secured 1st prize in fsae go-kart team 2020

  • Dr. Vamja Rajan Vinodray has received the Vikram Sarabhai Best PhD Thesis Award by Vigyan Gurjari, Gujarat on 28.02.2023. The PhD thesis title is "Induction motor driven solar photovoltaic water pumping systems- a topological investigation" and the thesis was supervised by Dr M A Mulla, Asso. Prof., DoEE.
  • Chhavi Mittal received Gold Medal for being the topper of M. Tech of Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics and Electrical Drives for the academic year 2020-2021.
  • Patel Harsh Dineshkumar received Gold Medal for being the topper of M. Tech of Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems for the academic year 2020-2021.
  • Aastha Dak received Gold Medal for being the topper of M. Tech of Electrical Engineering with specialization in Instrumentation and Control for the academic year 2021-2022.
  • Firake Dinanath Mohan received Gold Medal for being the topper of M. Tech of Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics and Electrical Drives for the academic year 2021-2022.
  • More Shreyash Dinkar received Gold Medal for being the topper of M. Tech of Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems for the academic year 2021-2022.
  • Kheelesh Kumar Dewangan, M Tech (Power System) July-2022 has been awarded POSOCO Power Systems Award (PPSA)-2023 by Grid India and Foundation for Innovation and Technology (FITT) New Delhi. The M Tech thesis title is "Power flow analysis using advance algorithms: Successive Approximation, Adomian Decomposition and Homotopy Perturbation" and the thesis was supervised by Dr Ashish K Panchal, Prof DoEE.
  • Rajesh Malik, Md. Ataur Rehman, Kheelesh D. project titled "Photovoltaic EV-battery charging system for public parking: PV to EV" has been selected by Techgium LTT Scheme.
  • Ravi Khandelwal (P20IC009) secured Ph.D. admission in the Department of Aerospace Engineering of IISC Bangalore.
  • Vishwa Pal Singh (P20IC006) secured Ph.D. admission in the Department of Electrical Engineering of IIT Roorkee.
  • Shaqib Khan (P20IC023) secured Ph.D. admission in the Department of Electrical Engineering of IIT Goa.
