UG:

  • Yutika Nayak (U19CH002) and Bharvi Patel (U198CH021) were selected for the FOSSEE Semester-long summer Internship 2021 at IIT, Bombay.
  • Aayushi Gupta (U18CH083) worked as the Documentation Head of Chemical Engineering Society 2020-21, selected for the FOSSEE summer fellowship 2021at IIT, Bombay under Chemical Process Simulation – DWSIM and Open Modelica.
  • Chemical Engineering Society represented SVNIT in the Chem-E-Car competition at IIT Gandhinagar on 20th October 2019 and secured 3rd position in the competition.
  • Sheetal Maheshwari (U18CH026) worked as the innovation Head of Chemical Engineering Society 2020-21 and publication Subcommittee member of Executive Student Committee 2020-21, American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and was declared as a recipient of an AIChE International Student Chapter Leadership Development Award 2020.

  • Ms. Jyotimal J. Jadhav (M.Tech.) secured First place and received Rs. 10,000/- towards research in cleaner production and clean technology by Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, Government of Gujarat. Year of award: 2021-22. Supervisors: Dr. Meghal A. Desai and Dr. G. C. Jadeja

  • Dr. Chetan Sharma (Ph.D.) secured Second place and received Rs. 5,000/- towards research in cleaner production and clean technology by Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, Government of Gujarat. Year of award: 2021-22. Supervisors: Dr. S. R. Patel and Dr. Meghal A. Desai.
  • Dr. Chandrabhushan T. Pal (Ph.D.) secured Second place and received Rs. 5,000/- towards research in cleaner production and clean technology by Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, Government of Gujarat. Year of award: 2020-21. Supervisor: Dr. G. C. Jadeja.
  • Dr. Krishna Solanki (Ph.D.) secured Second place and received Rs. 5,000/- towards research in cleaner production and clean technology by Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, Government of Gujarat. Year of award: 2019-20. Supervisors: Dr. Jigisha K. Parikh and Dr. Meghal A. Desai.
  • Dr. Miral Thakker (Ph.D.) secured First place and received Rs. 10,000/- towards research in cleaner production and clean technology by Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, Government of Gujarat. Year of award: 2018-19.Supervisors: Dr. Meghal A. Desai and Dr. Jigisha K. Parikh.
