  • The Department of Electronics Engineering was awarded a 5G use case Lab of Rs. 71.25 Lacs funded by the Department of Telecommunications. The team members are Prof. U. D. Dalal (PI) and Co-PIs Dr. Shilpi Gupta, Dr. Shweta N. Shah, Dr. Raghavendra Pal, Dr. Suresh Dahiya, and Dr. Sankita Patel.
  • Dr. Anand Darji was awarded a funded research project entitled ‘Onboard spectra preprocessing for multispectral image compression using FPGA’ of Rs. 18.62 Lacs by ISRO-RACS.
  • Dr. Rasika N. Dhavse and Mr. Shubham Anjankar were awarded a funded research project entitled ‘Synthesis and analysis of capacitive sensor for ionizing radiation detection’ by NUP-i2i, MeitY, GoI.
  • Dr. Shilpi Gupta was awarded a funded research project entitled ‘Polarization Tunable Circularly Polarized Antenna with Graphene for Ka-Band applications’ of Rs. 71,500 by SAC ISRO, Ahmedabad.
  • Dr. Raghavendra Pal, Dr. Suresh Dahiya, Dr. Dipti Rana, and Dr. Anand Darji were awarded a funded research project of Rs. 2.5 Lacs entitled ‘Compact Formation based swarming drone for coordinated surveying’, funded by MeitY.

  • Dr. Abhishek Acharya was awarded a funded research project of Rs. 22 Lacs entitled ‘Design and Characterization of Radiation Hardened Standard Cell Library using Nanosheet FETs: Improving on Design Margins/ Reliability’ by SERB under the CRG category.
  • Dr. Deepak Joshi, Dr. Vivek Garg, Dr. Suman Deb, and Mr. Shashidhara M were awarded a funded research project of Rs. 11 Lacs entitled ‘Design, Fabrication and Characterization of optimized 2D-Material SOT-MTJ for Energy Efficient Embedded Memory (MRAM) / Sensing Applications’, funded by iHub Divyasampark.
  • Dr. Kamal Captain, Dr. Deepak Joshi, and Dr. Suman Deb were awarded a funded research project of Rs. 11 Lacs entitled ‘Machine Learning based Mobile Application for Early Shrimp Disease Diagnosis in Aquaculture’, funded by iHub Divyasampark.
  • Dr. Kirti Inamdar and Dr. P. V. Bhale were awarded a funded research project of Rs. 24 Lacs entitled ‘Design and Development of Sustainable, Light-Weight, Cost-Effective Biochar-Polymer based Composites as Electromagnetic Shields for preventing the hazardous EMI Effects in Different Electromagnetic Environments’ by SERB under the CRG category.
  • Dr. Pinal Engineer was awarded a funded research project of Rs. 96 Lacs entitled ‘Secure and Energy-efficient Mixed-Domain Compute-in-Memory-Based AI Accelerator Chip for Edge Applications’, funded by MeitY, Government of India. The project duration is from January 2024 to January 2029. Co-PIs: Dr. Anand Darji, Dr. Zuber Patel, Dr. Sandeep Mishra. Status: Ongoing.
  • Dr. Suresh Dahiya (PI) was awarded a funded research project of Rs. 32 Lacs entitled ‘Development of Anti-Jamming and Anti-Spoofing Baseband Signal Processing Algorithms for GNSS Receiver Provisioned UAVs’, funded by Aeronautics R&D Board (AR&DB), DRDO, Ministry of Defense. The project duration is from 08/03/2024 to 07/03/2026. Co-PI: Dr. Kamal Captain. Status: Ongoing.
  • Dr. Kirti Inamdar was awarded a funded research project of Rs. 24 Lacs entitled ‘Design and Development of Sustainable, Light-Weight, Cost-Effective Biochar-Polymer based Composites as Electromagnetic Shields for preventing the hazardous EMI Effects in Different Electromagnetic Environments’, funded by CRG - SERB. The project duration is from 2024 to 2027. Co-PI: Dr. P. V. Bhale, Professor, DoME. Status: Acceptance received/Grant awaited.
  • Dr. Rasika Dhavse was awarded a funded research project entitled ‘Synthesis and Analysis of Capacitive Sensor for Ionizing Radiation Detection’, funded by NUP-i2i, MeitY, GoI under the Centralized Fabrication/Characterization Facility. The project started on 05/09/2023 and is ongoing. Status: Ongoing.
  • Dr. Shweta N. Shah received a project Deep Learning-based Signal Classification for Position Accuracy of NavIC/GPS, funded by DST with a budget of Rs. 30.6 Lacs. The project duration was from 2021 to 2023. Role: Mentor. Status: Ongoing.
  • Dr. Partha Das received research project 'Utilizing UAVs Equipped with AI and ML Technologies for Rescue Operations in Flood-Affected Areas', funded by NMICPS TiHAN Foundation with a budget of Rs. 11.9672 Lacs. The project duration is from 06/12/2024 to 06/08/2025. Co-PIs: Dr. Ritu Tiwari (CSED), Dr. Abhilasha Chaudhuri (CSED). Status: Ongoing.
