About CES SVNIT

Civil Engineering Society (CES) is the technical student chapter of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, run by the students from the department of civil engineering (DoCE). The main motive of CES is to create awareness among students about the developments in civil engineering and to impart software expertise and practical knowledge about the various subdivisions of Civil that help students choose their future path and be an asset to society.

We also organize multiple technical and managerial competitions and other events like tech talks, alumni talks, talks with faculties, industrial trips , article series, and workshops. We publish articles on significant projects regarded as milestones in civil engineering and Exemplary exemplary engineers whose contributions to our field were vital and whose achievements are to be cherished.
